2 c. all-purpose flour
1 t. baking powder
1/4 t. baking soda
3/4 t. salt
10 T. butter
2 c. light brown sugar, packed
2 large eggs
2 t. vanilla extract
1 c. semisweet chocolate chips
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees, and butter and flour a 13x9-inch pan. In a small bowl, stir the first four ingredients together.
Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. When melted, take off the heat and add the brown sugar. Using a wire whisk, stir until smooth. Add the eggs and vanilla, and mix thoroughly. Mix in the dry ingredients until smooth (the batter will be thick once the flour mixture is incorporated). Stir in the chocolate chips.
Spread in the prepared pan and bake for 20 to 25 minutes; a toothpick inserted in the center of the blondies should come out almost clean. Cool in the pan on a wire rack.
